Hairlekin: Braide Bun (Etude House)

Hairlekin: Braide Bun (Etude House)

by Rosalie

Hey everyone,
today I want to show you another hair tutorial wich I found at the Etude House website.
It's called a braided bun and I was thinking that it looks really easy and nice on the picture, so I decided to try it on my own.
Let me say at the begin this is yust easy if you still have made this kind of braiding by yourself.
If not I think you have to learn how to do it at first, to really be able to make this hairstyle. ;)

Ummm, yeah. Looks really easy!^^
So yust see how I was able to do it with my own hair! ;)

right side (originally step 2... sry for that!)

yeah, left side, originally step 1!^^

All in all I think my hair may be a bit short for this hairstyle. I wasn't able to really build up a bun with my hair, but I think this doesn't look so bad!^^
It's a new hairstyle and I like to wear it. I did it very often and never have problems!^^
So of you have shorter hair like me, don't be sad if you don't have such a nice bun like the model from Etude House! :D

I hope this review was helpfull for you. If you are interested in this "Hairlekin"-thing, please let me know. I still want to make some other hairstyles promoted by korean brands. I aslo think about to show you my own hair style ideas. If you like please let me know!^^

Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask (Kiwi)

Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask (Kiwi)

 by Rosalie

Hey everyone,
today I am gonna review to you my first product from the brand Innisfree.
I don't know if you have watched the Beauty Drama from Innisfree, but after this I was soooooo amazingly curious about Innisfree products!

So I yust wanted to have one of these pretty products, too.
At that time I needed some new sheet masks, so I decided to order this it's real mask. Yust looking at the picture of the kiwi... AAAAWWWWWWWW, the pacaging is so adorable. I yust wanted to eat kiwi!!!!!!! :3

PRICE: $7.65 (7pcs)

At this page you can order 3 pcs or 7 pcs (like I did).
They have some other types of mask sheets in this line, like rose, aloe, cucumber...)

Wearing the sheet on my face doesn't feel different from other mask sheets: it's cold, smells beautifull, but you couldn't move your face much. Nothing special about this! haha.
(If you look at my swatch picture you can see how awkward I look like with mask sheets on haha !! sorry for that!!! ahhahahahahahahahah!)^^

After taking the mask of my face has still much essence on, even after massage my face that my skin can absorb it bether, but the liquid stayes. So after a few hours waiting I yust have to wash my face with water, because with this oily feeling I cant sleep well, and I did the mask in the evening.
So I think this is a BIG fail of this product.
I'm so sorry Innisfree. I was ready to love your products, but I think they are simply not made for me.

So after using this mask I was always a bit scared about trying new Innisfree products. Until today I dont have buyed new Innisfree products, because I have read some other bad reviews about their  products.

So in the end This doesn't worked for me. If you have tried it and you think it was nice please tell me. Or If you know some nice Innisfree products, please let me know! ;)

I hope this review was helpfull for you. Please follow us on facebook, too. We post every new review there! ;)

We aslo have a new category we wanted to write about. We named it "hairlekin". Please check this out, too. I tryed some hairstyles wich are published by korean brands. I also think about showing you my own interesting hair styles. Yust wanted to know if you are interested! ;)

Skin Food "Premium Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Emulsion"

Skin Food "Premium Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Emulsion"

by Rosalie

Hi everybody,
today I want to review you my first product from the brand "Skin Food".
Seriously, I love the idea to have cosmetics wich are made with or from food, so yummy/funny! <33
The brand is a more expensive one but I always heard nice things about it so I was really curious about the brand and the products! ;)
At first I wanted to order a product with avocado (because lastly I am in love with avocado! hehehe) but because of my oily skin the avocado products wouldn't be good for me so I decided to order this Lettuce & Cucumber emulsion.

VOLUME: 140ml
PRICE: $18.45
I ordered this product from
(But seriously I think I don't payed $19. I think it was around $13...)
The bottle contains 140ml. At first before I ordered it I thought this is really much of product. But after getting this product (after a long time to wait for my order) I was shocked how small the bottle is. I am sorry if it's yust me but I thought that 140ml would be more...

Ok, you don't need much of the product so it isn't so bad that it isn't so much but I was shocked... really! :(
Anyway, I was a bit uneasy to get the product out of the bottle at first but after a short time it was easier.
After opening the bottle you can smell the sweet scent of the emulsion. I could'nt descripe this scent, I am really sorry, but I am in love with it. It is a bit fruity, but also like vegetables. A bit like parfum but not heavy or anything. Yust sweet and nice. the scent doesn't stay for long on your face so if you don't like products with such a smell it wouldn't be bad for you.

The texture is very liquidy, so it is really nice for a face massage.

You have to apply it at your face and then massage it in. It is really nice in the morning to wake up but as a soft moisturizer it did a nice job in the evening, too. But I think you shouldn't leave your moisturizer out only because of this product. In summer times it will be ok, but in winter it yust moisturize your skin softly and if you have dry skin in winter (or everytime) I think the moisturizing effect isn't enought.
All in all I think this is a nice emulsion for people with oily skin because for an emulsion my face absorbs it very fast. After using it my face is incredibly soft <333333333
Really, this is a super nice product.
I am happy that I ordered it and I am in love with Skin Food until now! <3 hahaha
I hope this review was helpfull for you. If you have questions please feel free to ask! ;)

Tonymoly "Appletox - Smooth Massage Peeling Cream"

Smooth Massage Peeling Cream

by Violetta

I bought this product as an offer on  together with the TONYMOLY "TOMATOX" for 15,80 $, which is a good price for both products (actually the TOMATOX costs 9,85 $, so you save 3,30 $). I was very curious about both products, because I heared that Tonymoly is very famous for them and they´re very good. Actually I was looking for something against blackheads and I heard that this peeling should help.

PRICE: 9,25$
VOLUME: 80 g

Well I have to say I like the texture of this peeling cream, because it doesn´t has any hard grains in it, like the most of german peelings have. I experienced, that such hard peelings are not good for my skin, because the skin in the face is always the thinest skin of your body. If you use peelings with hard grains for your back, feet or leggs, it is ok, but it is too hard for my face. So I think APPLETOX has the perfect texture for the face.

First you apply the product all over your face (exept mouth and eyes). Then you have to massage it in for about 1-2 minutes. After waiting  30 seconds you have to rub it off (not to hard) and remove the rest of the product with lukewarm water.

First the positive atributes: I really love the packaging and the smell is very nice (a really apple-like smell). The product is easy to use and you don´t need that much time. The texture is not to "agressive" for the face and even my sensitive skin doesn´t showed any bad reaction.

The bad thing is, that I don´t really know if it really helped me with my blackhead-problem (I don´t really think so ... ), and that´s why I´m not going to buy this product again. I had my problems with this product from the beginning on, because I didn´t used enough of the product at first, so it didn´t really worked. The thing is, that Tomatox is, compared to Appletox,  so much better and more effective, so I´m really disappointed of Appletox (Peeling cream). I even love the Appletox moisture cream, so I don´t know why this Appletox didn´t impressed me ...

Anyway, thank you for reading and if this review was usefull for you or if you have any other experiences or even the same ones, please leave a comment.

Hairlekin : bow shaped bun (idea from Etude House)

Hairlekin : bow shaped bun (idea from Etude House)

by Rosalie

Hi everyone,
today I am gonna try something new for you guys, I hope you like it.
I found some pictures from korean brands (espacially from Etude House) where they give some ideas to make nice hair styles. I was very interested in trying them out. Thats why I had the idea to make a review about this hair style, if it is possible to make it, is it easy/difficould...

You have to know that I hate to make selfies, because I hate my face smiling for the camera. I always look ugly! :D so please don't be shocked if my face do something funny and not smiling as other people do such pictures! :D haha

the make up that I where on the pictures is made by my sister. Normally I prefer a lighter make up, but violetta said she had to do it for a other review and she needed help... yes, as a little sister you always have to do strange things for your older sister!^^

Anyway, at first I show you how Etude House shows the tutorial and then I show you pictures from me trying to make it, too!^^

So far so good.
For me it is always difficould to make nice buns, because my hair isn't sooo long (but I want to let it grow!^^) but I love to make my hair and try out new hairstyles. So I thought this idea of a bow shaped bun looks really cute and easy to make.

At first I show you my hair lenght that you can see if you ahve a similar hair lenght if it works or not.

At first I tied my hair together... AS HIGH AS I COULD... :D (like the discription said)

 ...and making a bun!
ummmm, okey,......
I tryed to divide the bun in two parts but with that my bun crashed and I had to start a new begin.

This is my secound try and my new bun. seriously, I have to say if I wanted to make this hairstyle in the morning I would get pissed of very fast and it would be a bad morning for me and all the people who have to meet me! :D

I personally think that if you want to make a bow you have to seperate a little wisp of hair for the middle part. because taking hair out from the middle part of my bun crashed my bun...

My seperated hair is to long to yust put it something behind the bun, oh man this is really a mess...

looking at the result it looks really horrible. not like a bow or something pretty. yust as a scary bun! :D

If you wanted to try this hair tutorial from Etude House you would be very sad in the end.

I hope this review was helpfull and you like my idea of making reviews about korean hairstyles. I also wanted to try hair tutorials from pinterest, because they are pretty and interesting to try by myself! :3

Holika Holika "Sweet Cotton Pore Cover Powder"

Holika Holika "Sweet Cotton Pore Cover Powder"

by Rosalie

Hi hi,
after a really hot summer I think I am able to give a nice review to you guys about this powdery product from Holika Holika. My skin is supposed to have muuuch sebum (aaaaar, I hate it) so I am always searching for products wich can reduce it, that my skin can look more healthy.

My sister decidet to try out the "zero sebum" powder from Etude House (wich she will review in in a while) and I decidet to try this product.

PRICE: $7.03

VOLUME: 6.5g

I ordered this product from

The powder is white so it is supposed to mach every skin tone. The packaging is simple, sweet and you have a puff to apply it, too.
The only think I missed on this product is a mirror, and the lid should be connected on the product part of the packaging, this would make it more easy to apply it.

But If you have a mirror like in a bathroom, I think it is easy and compfortable to apply it.
After getting the product I was a bit shocked because I was thinking that the puff would be a bit larger than it is in the end but (really, it IS a small puff). But I think this small puff makes it even easyer for me to apply the powder (I don't know why :D )

Now I want to show you how it looks like on my skin:

Oh my I think you can see how oily my face is! :D
anyway the product helpes me to reduce the oilyness as you can see.
Of course the powder doesn't stay the whole day, so if you want to look preety and not oily the whole day you should bring it with you and apply it again on the day. The product itself is small so that wouldn't be a problem, but as I said, it would be helpfull if it has a mirror, to be able to apply it where ever you want.

But all in all I think this product does its job well, and it doesn't makes my skin dry!!!
So this is defenitely a nice powder for summer or for people like me with a oily skin!^^

If you still ahve any questions about thjis product please feel free to ask me.
If you like my review please follow us on facebook to never leaf a review out! ;)

Etude House "Lash Perm Curl Fix Mascara"

Etude House "Lash Perm Curl Fix Mascara"

by Rosalie

Hey guys,
this review is abot the new (and famous?!) mascara from Etude House.
I was so exited to use this new one because of all the advertising about this. It looks so lovely cute and yeah, this is my first mascara from a korean brand, so I was really curious!

The mascara came out in 4 different colous wich is pretty interesting, because there are red and pink, too. (I've never have tried a red or a pink mascara... :3 ) But I only ordered the black one to yust try it at first! ;)

PRICE: $14.40

I ordered this product from the Etude House Global Store.

The mascara brush has two different sites, for step 1 and step 2. I hope you can see it nicely in the picture!<3

I think the mascara pacaging lookes awesome, but after trying it I was a bit sad. I applyed it at the first time and all my lashes  were clumbing together. I like to spred every single lash out that it looks voluminous and simply nice (like in the advertising). But THIS was just to much product.

My lasher were yust sticky with this mascara, but I give it other chances because all mascaras are at the beginning very full and there is to much product on the brush so nobody will be able to apply it nicely. But even after some other applications the mascara is sticky. Arrrrrr I hate it. So all in all appying is very hard for me and I am not a newby with applying mascara.

The next problem is that it is really hard for me to remove it. I know it is whaterproof (or not??), anyway, its nice that it stays on during the day without smudging but I should be able to remove it!!!!!
Even after two days I had some product left on my lashes. I tried different remover but no one was successfull. :(

All in all I have to say that if you are searching for a nice mascara please DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT WOULD MAKE YOU UNHAPPY AND SAD. The saddest thing about it is that the mascara is very expencive so it is a bad product for much money. :( *snif*

Well I hope this review was helpfull for you. If you have some questions please feel free to ask.
We would be aslo happy If you follow us on facebook! ;)

Etude House "Dear My Whish Lips Talk"

Etude House "Dear My Whish Lips Talk"

#BE120 #OR203 #OR202 #PK001

by Rosalie

Hello my lovelies,
today I am really exited cause I review you my first lipstick from Etude House. I heard so much nice and good things about all lipsticks from Etude House that I always wanted to order one.
The Lipstick came out in many colours, the decision wich colours would be the best for me was difficoult, but I think this is much bether that the other was when I only have the choise between one orange, one pink and one red.

PRICE:  $12.40

 VOLUME: 3.5g

I ordered them at the Etude House Global Store.

from left: #BE120, #OR203, #OR202, PK001

from left: #BE120, #OR203, #OR202, PK001

As you can see I ordered some different colours and now I show you how they look like on my skin and on my lips! ;)

I know my skin is to pale on this picture but here you can see how the lipsticks really looks like, with a huge pigmentation.

The lipstick was more pigmented than I expected. What I mean is, the colour is really dark or very bright. A big plus is that you can also apply it in differend pigmentation states.

I really like this product, because it is creamy, doesnt make my lips dry, dont stay in my liplines, I was able to choose from many colours and the packaging is suuuuper cute.
The only thing is that it doesn't stay the whole day but really, wich lipstick do?? (If you have one please tell me :3)
Oh my, why are the producs from Etude so damn cute! <3 :D

even my cat is obsessed with these lipsticks :D

Anyway, if you are searching for a nice and rich pigmented lipstick you shoud choose this one, because I like all colours, its so easy to apply, I dont know what to say but I really love love love it! <333 haha
